At Kathryn Grant Counseling, we help individuals throughout Kansas City and across Kansas and Missouri find freedom from addiction and other personal challenges.
Kathryn Grant, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), established her private practice in 2008 after years of experience in addiction treatment centers. A lifelong learner, she continues to expand her expertise and is currently pursuing trauma certification to better serve her clients.
Kathryn specializes in working with individuals struggling with addiction, recovery, and the emotional impact of loving someone with an addiction. She also provides compassionate care for depression, anxiety, grief, and stress management. Using a tailored approach for each person, Kathryn helps clients uncover and overcome the psychological barriers that keep them stuck — empowering them to regain control and move forward with confidence.
Her therapeutic work integrates evidence-based methods such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), allowing clients to explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a supportive and goal-oriented environment.
